This is a matter of knowing when and how to:
- Make it clear to each individual how their role fits into the big picture.
- Give individuals the freedom to figure things out on their own.
- Set standards and be directive.
- Tend to the emotions of others and your own.
- Ask for input, listen and get buy in.
- Give instruction and feedback.
