Reputation management. It’s become a hot topic! But how well is it understood?
BrightLocal recently released its local consumer review survey for 2016. While the data is enormously useful, what to do requires careful consideration to each individual’s unique circumstances.
A few interesting findings from this report:
More people are reading reviews on a regular basis (50% vs. 33% in 2015)
59% of consumers look at 2-3 review sites before they make a decision about a business
Authenticity of reviews is the most important factor for consumers to trust the reviews they read
