Management Skills Workshops

Packages include: an initial needs assessment, a survey of participants’ challenges, evaluation forms and a follow-up session to provide you with recommendations for further integration of the new concepts. Workshops are offered exclusively on-site at your location, ensuring a private learning experience for your team to practice and discuss their own actual challenges that relate to the material. Each learning module is two hours in duration. Modules may be combined for full or half day workshops.

Leadership
Research has shown that culture is often the most significant, single factor contributing to financial results. And the most significant, single factor contributing to culture is leadership style. Developing leadership skill can have a positive and enduring rippling effect throughout the firm. Sub-topics include:

  • The difference between leadership and management
  • Different leadership styles
  • How and when to adjust to situations and people
  • Emotional Intelligence

Delegation
If assigned work keeps coming back, incomplete or inaccurate, without changing anything about the task itself, revisiting the manner in which it’s being delegated can deliver improved clarity, ownership and results. Sub-topics include:

Communication
The results we get from others and our ability to influence or inspire cohesion, all depend on how we communicate. If we’re distracted, running on auto-pilot or misreading cues, communication gets lost and so do results. Sub-topics include:

Time Management
You can’t add a sixth day to the work week but you can learn how to organize yourself to improve on how you manage the time you have. Sub-topics include:

Performance Management
No longer does the archaic model of the irate boss bellowing down the hallway making demands define our idea of performance management. Effective performance management is about driving results through genuine partnership with your team, where the ‘boss’ and the ‘employee’ each take responsibility for a role in improvement. Business Coaching
There’s a difference between a team that’s actively learning, growing and contributing to the firm’s mission and one that continues to do its job the way it always did. Progress begins with business coaching. Sub-topics include:

  • Business coaching models
