A tagline is a short phrase that communicates the highest priority message about your brand identity, in an evocative manner. It presents a valuable opportunity to communicate point of difference, promises, solutions or benefits, on everything from letterhead to website.
The tagline is a particularly good fit for architects, engineers, accountants, naturopaths and other professionals, since their marketing campaigns are focused on developing the identity of the practice rather than aggressive marketing tactics.
Taglines are ideally 1-3 words in length.
The marketing terms tagline and slogan are used interchangeably.
