What really works to market a medical clinic?
Today, the ‘purchasing’ process begins the way it always did, by asking for referrals. But consumers have added a step before they even place that first call. They do their own research and they place importance on what they find online.
So, what does all this mean in terms of marketing naturopathic, chiropractic, chiropody, dental and other medical clinics?
They need to be easy to find, online and off. That’s actually the easy part. Here’s the challenge. Once they’re found, they need to evoke hope and enlist trust, before they even get to that initial handshake or hello.
You can do this by inviting your bull’s eye market to see itself in your story. Use your logo, tagline, brochure, website and even shortest of Facebook postings to express the most meaningful aspects of your vision and valued difference. Don’t hold back and there will be no substitute for your brand. People will extend their drive if you move, wait for your return when you’re away and, most importantly, place a premium on your time.
Ironically, the online version of these efforts used to be at odds with Search Engine Optimization strategies. But since the rise of social media and Google’s efforts to emulate human behaviour, such efforts have the added benefit of pulling your medical clinic closer to the top of search results.
